The Hawaii State Ethics Commission is offering an ethics class for state board and commission members on August 26, 2015, on Oahu. The class will provide an overview of the state ethics laws that apply to all state board and commission members. Topics will include conflicts of interests; gifts and the reporting of gifts; confidential information; misuse of official position; and post-employment restrictions. This class will focus on ethics issues that are especially relevant for state board and commission members.

 

Who should attend this class: State board and commission members and employees who serve as staff to state boards and commissions.
